New Every Morning

About
Aloha! I'm Kananikalā, Kalā or Lalā
I recently took an online class which my parents were in, and I had to find out where the meaning of my name came from. when my dad told me the story (again) It was then, that I immediately thought of my favorite verse in the bible, and realized why I love it so much.
Kananikalā means beautiful morning. My great grandmother gave me this name when I was born. she asked my dad what kind of day it was, and he said "Its a beautiful morning."
I am so glad that no matter what happens that godʻs unconditional love for us never ceases, and is brand new every morning with every beautiful sunrise.
"The Steadfast of the lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness" Lamentations 3:22-23

Lessons of Life: Things
I've Learned, Moments I Cherish.
When my children take a moment to ask me for a hug, or want to share something that happened during their day, it is a moment I cherish. At times I'm sure they feel that they need to me to help them through a difficult time, but in reality they have saved me and brought me out of a dark place or a lonely road. They are the hero, and the truth is I want to be like them when I grow up.
